19 May Inaugural Meeting of the Council of the African Space Agency

The council of the African Space Agency, made up of H.E. Dr Tidiane Ouattara (Côte d’Ivoire) – President, Ms Thandikile Chisala Mbvundula (Malawi) – Vice President, Dr Rakiya Babamaaji (Nigeria), Dr Lisho Mundia (Namibia), Ms Amal Layachi (Morocco), Mr Aboubaker Hassan Ali (Djibouti), Dr Éliane Ubalijoro (Rwanda), Mr Amin Mestar (Algeria), Mr Fernand Guy Isseri (Cameroon), and Ms Fatimé Hamat Daoussa (Chad) had its first council meeting on Saturday, 19th April 2025 before the inauguration of the African Space Agency.
